Blogger or Word Press

So I am reading blogs, and I notice...my blog is okay...but some people's blogs are downright cute. I want a cute blog. Blogger doesn't have that many choices. I was looking at WordPress and considering switching. Does anyone have any advice? Should I stick with blogger since I am already established hear or does asthetics take precedence?

    I made the switch from blogger to wordpress in September and I must say that Wordpress is so much better! They have more layouts if you're looking for a variety. Plus Wordpress let's you tag. What I've learned is that tagging will gain you more hits because people search for certain things and your blog comes up in each topic it is tagged in. The only issue with Wordpress though is it doesn't except embed codes. So like if you want to add video it has to be via youtube. When you want to add banners and stuff on the side it has to be "basic html". So hopefully they'll step their game up on that tip.

    i hate that wordpress doesn't allow you to embed codes. that is my biggest complaint!

    Wordpress will allow you to move your blog so you won't lose content. I tried blogger and it frustrated the hell out of me, lol. Glennisha is right about the tags though. I think the platform is set up better to get you more hits...

    Hi Tamara,

    I had to really experiment with Blogger to get my blog to look the way I wanted it to. I tried different colors and layouts until I finally got something I liked.

    So my advice would be to spend a little time with Blogger on your layout and colors and fonts, etc. and maybe you'll find the right look. If not then try Wordpress.

    Go to Wordpress. You won't regret it!!! Blogger is cool, but WP is much more user-friendly and the platform has much more features.
